Sports Trivia: What football team won Super Bowl XXXII? In 2003, what NFL team had the best record? Can you name 10 NFL teams? Here’s a twist: How many of the 10 Commandments can you name? And for the touchdown question: How many of them do you think you’ve kept? Here’s a quick test to see. Have you ever lied, stolen, lusted, wanted anything that didn’t belong to you or used God’s name in vain (this is called blasphemy)? If you have done these things, you’ve broken 5 of the 10 Commandments and sinned against God. The Bible says, “It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.” When you die, you will stand before God and He will judge you by the 10 Commandments. How will you do on that day? If you’re honest with yourself, you will recognize that you are guilty. Will you go to heaven or hell? Again, if you’re honest, you’ll recognize that the result of your guilt and sin is hell. Although this is tragic, there’s hope! The Bible says, “While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Simply put: you committed the crime (sin) and Christ paid your fine by dying on the cross. Then He rose from the grave and defeated death. If you will repent (turn from your sin) and put your faith in Jesus Christ, He will then save you from hell, forgive your sin and grant you eternal life. Read your Bible daily and obey what you read. Please see John 14:21. (Answers: Denver Broncos and New England Patriots.)
