The place is jumpin’! People are lined up to get in. The crowd is so loud you can’t hear the music. It’s so hot, water can’t satisfy your thirst. No, I’m not talking about a club. I’m talking about hell. Let’s look at God’s standard, the 10 Commandments, to see if you’re going there. Commandment #9 says, "Do not lie." How many lies have you told? There may be too many to count. The 8th Commandment says, "Do not steal." Have you ever stolen anything? Commandment #3 says, "Do not take God's name in vain." Have you ever done that? If so, you've sinned against God by breaking His Commandments, and He sees you as a lying, thief and a blasphemer. Listen to what the Bible says. “It is appointed for man to die once and after that comes judgment” (Heb. 9:27). When you die and stand before God, you will be guilty of sinning against Him and you will be cast into hell, as the just punishment for your sins against a holy God. Although this is tragic, there's hope! The Bible says, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life" (Jn. 3:16). Two thousand years ago, God the Father sent His Son Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man, to this earth; He lived the perfect life that you could not live. He was nailed to a cross, shed His blood, and was crucified for sinners. Three days later, He rose from the dead. As a result of Jesus Christ's perfect life and shed blood, you can have peace with God, have your sins forgiven and inherit eternal life, but you must be "born again" (Jn. 3:3). Being born again is a supernatural work that only God can do when He transforms your heart and gives you new desires. Once you are born again, God will enable you to repent (turn from your sins) and place your faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. www.EvangelismTeam.com Pack of 100
