Sir Arthur Keith, who wrote the forward to Darwin’s 100th Anniversary edition of Origin of Species, said, “Evolution is unproved and unprovable. We believe it only because the only alternative is special creation, and that is unthinkable.” Henry Schaefer, a 5-time Nobel prize nominee, director of the Center for Computational Quantum Chemistry at the University of Georgia and recently named the 3rd most cited chemist in the world, said, “Some defenders of Darwinism embrace standards of evidence for evolution that as scientists, they would never accept in other circumstances.” Many claim humans evolved from apes because it is proposed that our DNA is 98% identical and we share common traits, such as bone structure. But is this enough evidence? Could it be the reason we share similarities is because we have a common Designer? Here’s what the Bible says about creation: “And God said let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.” We were created by God to live, but we die for another reason. The Bible says, “The soul that sins, it shall die.” Sin is transgression of the law. Have you broken God’s law? Here is a quick test: have you ever lied, stolen or used God’s name in vain? If so, on Judgment Day you will be guilty of breaking His law and you will end up in hell. But God doesn’t want that! The Bible says, “God demonstrated His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Then He rose from the dead and defeated death. If you will repent (turn from your sins) and put your faith and trust in the Savior Jesus Christ, He will forgive your sins, save you from hell and grant you the gift of everlasting life.
