1-2-1 WITNESSING
This young man attends a local mega-church, yet boasted that he had intimate relations just weeks prior to this conversation. This is a sad representation of many that fill the pews today. If someone professes to be a Christian, preach the gospel to them anyway. Please pray for this young man.
While on the campus of the University of California San Diego (UCSD), Leon approached a gentleman that was sitting down. It was a pleasant witnessing encounter and the young man expressed that he’s never been called a sinner in such a nice way before.
As Anthony and Leon walked the pier at Imperial Beach, in San Diego, CA, Anthony approached 2 fishermen and initiated a conversation. They liked talking more than they liked listening. Please pray for them!
Leon was blessed with another opportunity to witness to a person from a mega church in San Diego. When God is not lifted up, and man is central in every sermon, this is what happens.

Leon stopped this college student and noticed he had a Richard Dawkins’ book with him. The atheist said he doesn’t like “militant” atheism. He also recognized that if what the Bible says is true, he is in a lot of trouble.
Leon exchanged a flyer with this college student for a gospel tract. He believed he would be reincarnated. That idea was soon dissolved. This young man recognized he could not do more good than bad to be reincarnated at another time.
Eddie was raised Roman Catholic. When asked if the man that killed the college students at Virginia Tech was evil, Eddie could not call him evil.
This young man claimed to be an atheist, but during the conversation, it appeared he shifted to agnosticism. He was pleasant to talk with and very reasonable. Leon was not able to share the gospel with him, but he did take a gospel tract.

Phillip has been thinking about eternity. He believed those that are good and kept the 10 Commandments will go to heaven. Murders, etc will go to hell. Initially, he thought he was going to heaven, but soon realized he was not.
Leon approached a college student sitting down. It’s good to approach people that are sitting down because often they don’t go anywhere. Leo believed murderers go to hell and good people go to heaven.
Roy believed he was going to heaven because he was a good person. Initially, he would not admit to being a liar, but soon realized he was. He also recognized he was going to hell, but did not want to live his life in fear. He also believed good works would get a person into heaven.
These two high schools seniors were checking out San Diego State University when they ran into Leon and were witnessed to. They had some weird ideas.
He attends the Salvation Army church every Sunday and has “accepted” Jesus as his Savior. But was this young man living a life of holiness? He said he’s been a Christian since he could talk.
OPEN AIR PREACHING
Leon engaged the crowd outside the movie theater in Glendale, CA, with the gospel for 23 minutes. Not only was sharing the gospel a blessing, but Leon was able to share along side his good friend, Tony “Lawman” Miano, for the evening.
In order to engage the crowd and transition the conversation from the natural to the spiritual, Leon enjoys using recent events. During this trip to the DMV, Leon used Martin Luther King day as a transition.
During the first-ever Ambassadors’ Academy, a ministry of Living Waters, Leon open air preached at Huntington Beach to the people that were sunbathing on the grass. Several people left as he preached, but Leon continued to proclaim the truth.

Melissa was volunteered to take the good person test because she smoked cigarettes. She readily admitted her sin and boasted in it (initially). When asked if it concerned her that she was going to hell, she said, “yes.” It appeared she was the typically false convert that went to church, but was not saved.
The gentleman that was selected to take the good person test was drunk. Fortunately, it worked in Leon’s benefit, as more people gathered to hear the gospel because he was somewhat loud.
